1. your favourite season: Autumn, absolutely. I'm born 5 days before halloween. I love the feel to this season, and the cloudy skies and brisk air. Hot cocoa and scarves...Mmmm!
2. your favourite color combo for this style: "chocolate" buttercream, mocha...(hmm...its all edible lol) However, my home is done in much bolder colors. Different color (and theme) for each room.
3. do you live with others who share your aesthetic? Not exactly, but he is tolerant of my decorating tastes. He is more into the clean, simple things. (Think Ikea)
4. do you frequent charity shops/flea markets/garage sales? Every weekend! They are my addiction.
5. what's the best thing you've found? Wow. My mind went blank. Recently I got this huge black wrought iron gothic style candleabra, it's waist high. I got it for $1.50 Annnnnnd...my mom got this OLD statue of the virgin Mary, about 4 feet high, painted- she looks very real. Used to be in a church...she snagged that for $40.
6. What sort of style does your run-down aesthetic take the form of (mid-century, country, ethnic etc)? Ethnic I suppose?
Rundown: Cobalt room with gold in the bathroom and done in egyptian. Burgundy and black in living room, asian. Greens in kitchen, ok, its got no theme yet. Ideas? My bedroom is the color of an italian villa with lots of cherubs. Laundry room- pale pink and black, the "french" look- little pink poodles. My favorite is dining room- bold purples, hot pinks, and mardi gras dolls and bright paper lantern everywhere. Help! I'm running out of rooms!
7. What do you think of the whole Shabby Chic thing? I like the really girly roses and pinks, but not the "country" feel. Either way, I'm out of rooms at the moment.
And if possible, try to leave us some snaps of your house/dress/shoes Soon, I promise! I need batteries for the camera lol

Ideas for the kitchen...hm. Well, if it's all greens, why not try a 30s general store feel? You can have an excuse to buy lots of neat old advertising. Or maybe Art Nouveau. My kitchen style is very Blackadder III - all rough wooden tables and stone jugs. And turnips.
